As determined by the California Valley Miwok Tribe Eligible Groups during the August 30, 2023, meeting the Constitution Committee will utilize the proposed Constitution voted on in 2019 but was not approved as a guide in drafting a proposed Constitution. The use of this document is for reference purposes only, there is no requirement for the Constitution to use any or all the language provided in the reference document. The documents linked below are intended for use by the greater tribal community as a reference to provide their input on a proposed document through the members of the Constitution Committee.

California Valley Miwok Tribe Constitution Committee
This is to notify the eligible groups of the California Valley Miwok Tribe as defined by the AS-IA Washburn Decision of December 15, 2015, as modified by the AS-IA Newland decision on May 31, 2022, that the following individuals have been appointed by the Superintendent, Central California Agency, to serve on the California Valley Miwok Tribe Constitution Committee discussed at the August 30, 2023, meeting.
